CFI Dual Received.

I've been hearing alot about CFI's earning Dual Received time. My question is, when instructing a student who isn't licensed or rated in the conditions you are flying, isn't the instructor PIC?

Yep.

Dual received = student time.
Dual given = instructor time / PIC.
