Hello:
I try to land on some airport, I go good and I am almost in the runway, but when the plane passes the middle marker it begins to ascend without being "told" to and it always frustrates my landings (if I don't crash). does anybody know why do this thing happen? how to fix it? am I doing something wrong?
thanx

Good day, I have had the same problem in that simulator as well. Most of the time that this happened to me was when I was doing an auto approach and if the aircraft was not perfectly lined on the glideslope it seemed to initiate a go around. So if you are attempting auto approaches this may be the reason! Hope this may be of some help!

What is your approach speed?
If you go to fast you might flare and it will start a climb out.

Well...it's about 180 knots on MD83
so did you fix it? how?
thanx

That's a bug usually associated with custom scenery that mess with runway coordinates. Getting rid of the scenery usually fixes it. It is however a permanent bug on a few runways (Sky Harbor in particular).

Yeah dude, but that's some bug of the MD83 model itself, If I lower it to 170 it begins to stall, for reality that's hella fast...but the in the simulator is stall, at least in that model.
By the way, I have been doing the approachs with no ILS and it's fixed, the problem is of the ILS.

whoa ... images/smiles/icon_eek.gif
180kts on approach ?
They calculate app. 135-140 on the 763 .. app. 135-145 on the 744.. down to 125 on the A330 ..
So, 180kts = 324 km/h .. That's FAST, man ..
