Which Aircraft will be More Succesful by 2012

Which aircraft will be more Succesful by 2012 and which one will be more succesful between the A340-500 and 777-200LR?

Right now airlines need to go for the most affordable option, so it'll be the 7E7. Airlines aren't moving towards larger aircraft, so I dont see the A380 being a huge sucess, there haven't been too many people that look to be interested in the 777-300ER, but the 340-600 doesn' seem to be hurting for orders. I think its mostly because airlines like the 340, and now that it has more power its more popular.

I believe that the 7E7 will be extremely successful but I question the time line for it being successful. If we are talking about units sold, then in 2012 the 7E7 will have only been flying for a few years while both the 777 and A340 will have been in production for close to 20 years.
