Hi,

I will be traveling transpacific on Northwest (NW8 NRT-SEA & NW27 SFO-NRT) in March and read on the inside of my Northwest ticket wallet that transpacific flights are smoking flights. Is this the case? I thought smoking on flights was a thing of the past.

Has anyone recently experienced a smoking flight on board an American carrier transpacific?

Thank you

James,

Whatever you're reading is wrong. All flights operated by U.S. carriers are non-smoking.

All Northwest Airlines flights worldwide are smoke free flights, its been an Airline Policy since I believe late 80's
