Mine is way too long. Seniority eh!

I've flown on all of the B747, L1011 and DC10 (except series 40) models.

I've also flown on the B707 (Canadian Armed Forces so is it really a B707?)and most of the DC8 models.

The RCAF 707, otherwise known as the CC-137 in RCAF parlance, was a real 707.
The RCAF took up in fact 707-347Cs that were originally ordered by Western but according to what I know, the order was cancelled while the aircrafts were being built. Boeing then managed to place them with the Royal Canadian Airforce.

Only one "classic" and only two widebodies in total. The flight over (MIA-LHR) was on an American 767 (300 I think) on 3-13-1992.

Any way to locate those reg numbers from 1992? Thanks!

Actually the RCAF ceased to exist 1 Feb 68; the five 707s were bought to replace the CC106 Yukons and placed in service with Air Transport Command of the Canadian Armed Forces. They were delivered 70/71 and I believe four are still in service as Jstars with the USAF. I had many flights on these across Canada and overseas to Lahr and Cyprus.

this was in 1992, and for the life of me, I don't know what varient
AI operated those days.

AI had the -200's those days, some of which are still being flown lol.

Speaking of which, here are mine:

'89:
-AI 747-200: BOM-LHR-JFK (AI 101. I fondly recall this flight, as it's the earliest flight that I can clearly remember parts of. Also my very first widebody flight).
-AI 747-200: JFK-LHR-BOM (AI 102)

'91:
-AI 747-200:BOM-DEL-LHR-JFK (Again the PW-powered 742, what a thrill to fly in, also a leading edge view this time westbound. The flight arrived at JFK half an hour late and we missed the connecting TWA flight from LGA (wonder why lol). Had to overnight it and then take the early morning TWA DC 9 to STL and OKC).
-AI 747-200: JFK-LHR-DEL-BOM

'93:
-DL MD 11: FRA-ATL (Sitting right above the leading edge, two things caught my attention from the start-the huge engine and the gigantic winglet. Great plane though, very smooth and noise level comparable to a 343).

-DL L 1011-500 Tristar (Nice plane, but felt much more packed than the 2-3-2 config I was used to in the 763ER's. Also recall another jet's fresh contrail forming a nice shape over the wing as the wing sliced through it for a good few hours!).

'97:
-AF 747-100: BOM-CDG (It was nice to fly in another Classic 74' after such a long period. Not to mention I had forgotten how powerful those PW's were. Plane was late by two hours due to a mechanical problem at CDG, but we made the connecting flight to IAH with time to spare. Also had the opportunity of eating fantastic food-the only time I've had food that good in-flight. I can still taste that Black Forest cake! Too bad the quality of AF has gone down also).

'00:
-LH 747-200: FRA-BOM (This time in a GE-powered 747).

'01:
-LH 747-200: BOM-FRA (Needless to say, full reverse thrust upon landing at FRA produced an awesome sound :D).

'02:
-DL MD 11: BOM-CDG (Business class, had a great view of the engine and intake and leading edge. I was surprised to hear the quiet whine-up on engine start-up, not the distinct compressed air start-up sound on other engines).

I bet mine is the shortest one:
03/09/06: Boeing 747-200 Air Plus Comet BOG-MAD

B757300
04-26-2007, 12:16 AM
American: DFW-HNL, HNL-DFW in 1993. DC-10

Continental: SFO-HNL, HNL-SFO in 1994. DC-10

Other than that I've always been on narrowbodies except for an ORD-DFW flight in 2000 but that was on a 777.
