Northrop Grumman’s KC-30 Advanced Multi-role Tanker Transport is the right answer for the U.S. Air Force’s modernization of its aerial refueling fleet.

Well that's what it says on the video remarksbox. Watch the promo video.

Is USAF still considering the KC767's ?

I just posted the KC30 by Northop Grumman about three days ago or so and I read this today. that..........KC-767 Tanker extends its fifth-generation, fly-by-wire boom telescoping tube for the first time during recent tests. The future Italian tanker has surpassed 400 flight hours, completed its first phase of boom-free, air-stability testing and has begun fuel off-load testing on the ground.

I didn't know that Italian AF was the first to operate these tankers. Well done Boeing. 2.0 to Boeing. 1 for the LCF, another 1 for this tanker. Great achievement.
