Is this (http://www.jetphotos.net/viewreject.php?id=16993) really too far away?
Let's compare it with this (http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=14822)...
And is this (http://www.jetphotos.net/viewreject.php?id=16982) very blurry? The aircraft isn't blurry. I'd like to see you get a picture like that through a fence! uhoh.gif
PS: UBB Code sucks!

I rejected the 1st one for being too far away,
I did not screen the 2 last ones you posted
Photo #2 would have been rejected by me because its too far off also.
Photo #3 Bit overexposed aint it? err id say borderline

Ian, the first one *is* rather far off... Wasim's shot is aviation related in the foreground and perhaps that was the determining factor to the screener (but its not fair I don't think to pick on someone else's shot).
The second one is obviously not shot on a very good day weather-wise to get a good image. The fuselage in blending into the sky behind it..and its off-center (without discernable motivation).
I'm sure you'll upload better ones for us to see soon.
Tom
(*not* a screener).

Photo #1 - I agree, too far away.
Photo #2 - Also far away, but an interesting perspective with the terminal and other aircraft around. Borderline, but I would've accepted it.
Photo #3 - A bit blurry, but my main beef had I screened it would have been that the aircraft was off-center. I just don't feel that the shot is asthetically pleasing.
As a rule of thumb, if a photo depicts a straight-on side view of an aircraft, and you can't make out the registration, it's likely a) too far away, b) too blurry, or c) too grainy for acceptance into the database.

it's centered, but is it aesthetically pleasing?

Gee I wonder who you ripped that rule of thumb thing off of ahhaha... skeptical.gif
Ian, Chris is right though, if you cant see the registration on a side shot in daylight in a typical shot like that then i doubt it will be accepted.
