Hey guys.

Something crossed my mind, when I was watching the JAG (Navy court show?)

Commander Rabb were to fly with a pilot on a NASA test CRJ200?
My question is that when they reversed the engines, I hear the Pilot disengaging/engaging (Im not sure) some kind of ADAS ?

Can anyone explain what this means and what good or bad it do ?
After they reversed, the plane went dead. No electrity on the cockpit whatsoever.

Thanks for you answers in advance !

Answer:

Engine monitoring system installed on some aircraft. Gathers and stores a wide range of engine data during engine operations. Used to show trends in engine performance.
