No, not yet. There are women in the program however, none are pilots though. There will be in the near future I would say.

I'd hit it. Man, why dont you let your little head think of somethin else when you see a female photo. Geez !

Anyway This is Great. Must be an honour for her to wear the title.

Why did the dude getting his picture taken with Capt. Malachowski feel like he had to put his arm around her? Would he have done this to one of the male pilots?

Well, if he 'bats for the other team' he might have...

Not that there is anything wrong with that...

@ Wayne, Its maybe a close "friend" of her ? Who knows.

Would he have done this to one of the male pilots?

Do you really care about it ? :rolleyes´:

He was talking to her and wanted to set up a interview for next year. When I asked if I could take a picture and another friend next to me also took one, that's why he isn't looking at me, but she is.

Wouldn't you put your arm around her, plus I believe her hand is around him so I'm not sure who made the first move;-)

Thats true enough, she may have initiated and as Max stated, maybe they are good friends. I wish her good luck with the Thunderbirds. Things have definately changed since I was shocked back in 1981 to find out one of the aggressor pilots we flew against was a female.
