Last week, I did a "country tour" to visit my coastal business partners. We flew BA from Johannesburg International to Durban International - nothing out of the ordinary. next leg was S A AirLink on a dash 8 from Durban to East London - fun, have not been in a dash 8 for a while. next leg was again S A AirLink from East London to Port Elizabeth (and this was the one trip I decided not to bring my camera with me - VERY SILLY) - this time i mentioned to the air hostess that I was a JP member etc etc - next thing, i was summoned to the cockpit (Jetstream 41) and invited to spend the rest of the flight "up front". VERY COOL and a wonderful experience. next leg was Port Elizabeth to Cape Town on a DC-9. Did the "JP member" bit and again, an invite to the cockpit. This time I nicked my boss' camera (Sony Cybershot) and got some pics. last leg was BA from cape Town back to Johannesburg - however, flight very full and no invite this time. However, what a super trip from East London to PLZ to CTN.
