I got this email from a pilot about photography...but I am kinda confused what he means.

Furloughed Commercial Pilot Available for photo flights and access to airports such as MDW ORD etc.... Many controller friends in the area, they can be very helpful. I have a large variety of aircraft available. High altitude photos too... 25,000 ft high enough?

He wants to use his friends to make money off of you.
Meaning you pay him money and he'll tell his friend to take you to the hangar and snap some shots.
Sure isnt something I'd pay to do.

Oh my uncle is a mechanic for US at CLT pay me $70.00 per shot and you can come in!

Something about this does not sound too kosher, skeptical.gif I would be weary, I would definently check his credentials before going foward. As Robert suggested he is probably looking for a little extra cash.

Hmmmm......I might email him!!

I met someone thru that other forum back in '99 and we got together at MSY and I had a blast. Oh if only I was shooting digital back then shake.gif

My D30 wishes I had a friend in the biz right about now.....

I domt know if anyone else has ever payed for access but I sure havent and wouldnt. (I have access to CLT anyways)
