Hello Everyone.
I am already planning my next trip back to Dublin once again. I have recently checked the flights and these are the airlines available:
Cathay Pacific
Virgin Atlantic
Malaysia Airlines
Emirates
Qantas
British Airways
Singapore Airlines
Lufthansa
Price varies all between $1400 AU to $2200 AU. Which airline is the best?

Hard to say really as they all are very good airlines to be honest. But i would whittle down my choices to Singapore Airlines and Emirates to be honest, ive flown with Emirates and cant really fault them to be honest. They really go out their way to make u feel comfy on the flight and the stewardesses are kinda cute. Singapore Airlines i have again heard good things about them so wouldnt discount them, same with Malayasia as well.
But like it was said above, go with the cheapest and save all that money to buy lots of guinness when your out there :D

Well, from your list I haven't flown yet Virgin Atlantic, Malaysia Airlines and Emirates.
However, I flew FRA-SIN-AKL and SYD-SIN-FRA with Singapore Airlines just last month and they have a superb service in economy class.
I would fly SQ even if they were the most expensive.
Regards.

Yes I agree.
I did just get off a Singapore Airlines Flight 2 weeks ago and I'm already planning my next trip back :p . I have to say they were absolutely superb, I had a bulkhead Aisle and Even though not a window, I could see outside the windows on either side of me. Because I was right behind the Galley, the Head Flight attendant was sitting just opposite me when on takeoff and landing. She didn't stop the whole flight. Jeez, I was so suprised, because I was always the first served. And there was no trolley for me either. And the IFE is superb as well....
....I didn't do a trip report did I?
That'll come soon.
But, I was asking because I want to fly by April Next year, to see my Grandmother for Easter, because she's quite lonely over there. It would be nice for her once. And I'm telling you, Im not getting on another Lufthansa flight again.
I Loved Singapore, But it will cost be just over 2 grand including Taxes. So, better start saving.
What about Virgin though? Last time I was choosing, a lot of people recommended Virgin, But I don't know If i could go through 31" Pitch, with my height and all.

Well what about trying something new?
I know that on such a long trip you may not want to experiment, but you should try the other airlines just to see what they offer.

Whoops... I meant of those that you listed, you should try one of those that you have never flown on before. You said that you already flew on Singapore, so try someone else, just to see what is like.
