Ever have an airline that you flown, go out of their way or over the top to accomodate you?
I havent... LOL.. but I have seen something VERY cool.
Independence Air's flt 1640 from PVD-IAD was delayed one night a couple hours, sitting out on the taxiway. The endless delays at IAD...., well they brought the aircraft back, it pulled in to the gate area, paralell to the terminal...not at the jetway, the shut down the left engine, opened up the door and out came a stack of large pizza's ordered by PVD Operations, the plane powered up and 180'd out of the slot and went back on the taxiway so the passengers had something to eat.
Another time, something similar happened and it was just one passenger on board, again a stack of pizzas were brought out to aircraft. One for the pilots, one for the f/a and one for the passenger. No joke either...
Now how cool is that? Thats what I call customer service.
