EL AL --> Has anybody travelled on it? How is it?

Has any of you guys travelled on El Al, I have always been courious how is EL AL long haul, can anybody tell me? Do 747's have PTV's? Is the service as sleek as its livery

yeah ive flown on it 6 times :)

i have no complaints - i mean it is the safest airline in the world :p
didnt die for the food but its airline food :p
about the ptvs the last time i was on an el al 747 was about 5 years ago - back then i dont think they had it but its been 5 years so i dont know maybe they some now...
overall its a good airline :)

I have flown them twice, YYZ-TLV-YYZ and TLV-CDG (oneway) The food IMO is pretty good. Best damn kosher food you can get on any airline :lol: No their planes do NOT have PTVs since I have been on them (last year) Leg room is alright. I am going back too TLV next year and I will be flying CO because I honestly think they are a lot better.

I have flown once. From Tel Aviv to Warsaw on board b747. It was amazing. The food is very good and everyone has it's own PTV in front.:razz:. Hawoever I flown cople years ago, so maybe it changed.

Just checked LY's website. The 744s do have PTVs now but the 762 don't. This means unless you fly from JFK you won't have a PTV.

but im sure the 772 also has PTVs
