My grandparents dropped us off. There wasn’t a line at check in and it only took a few minutes to check in. We went though security and walked to the gate. We boarded on time and the plane was full. After we pushed back we waited for about 10mins. After take off we flew over Narragansett Bay. The flight attendants served only coke, diet coke, and Sprite with a bag of Snyder’s Pretzels. I had a coke. We landed on time and went to the food court to eat dinner.

After having dinner we walked to the gate. Boarding had already started and we boarded. The flight was very full. We pushed back on time and started to taxi to the runway. We pulled over on the taxi way and stopped. The captain came over the intercom and said we would be an hour late. There was bad weather on our course and we had to be rerouted. After take off a flight attendant came though the cabin selling headsets. The in flight movie was Welcome to Mooseport. Then one flight attendant served beverages while another sold food. There were three choices. There were two T.G.I. Friday’s On the Fly meals. For $10 dollars you could get a Roasted Vegetable Wrap served with tortilla chips and a Cookies ‘n Cream bar or a Cajun Club Sandwich served with a salad and Cookies ‘n Cream bar. I had a coke and was given a bag of Snyder’s Pretzels. The flight attendants ran out of food in the row in font of us. She apologized and said that they never had enough food. Shortly before landing the flight attendants did another beverage. We landed on time even though we took off an hour late. We got our bags and waited for the hotel shuttle

Seat 47H&J
Boeing 747-400 “City of Darwin”
Gate 121
We got to LAX, after taking a city tour, five hours before our flight. We had to wait an hour before check in opened. The check in was fast and the agent was very friendly. She suggested we get something to eat before going through security, because there was not much beyond security. We watched our bags go though the x-ray machine, and then we went to the Daily Grill for dinner. I had a turkey sandwich, it was okay. We went through security and walked down to Gate 121. On the way to the gate we saw an Aeroflot flight to Moscow boarding. After leaving my back pack with my aunt I went on a walk. There were only about three stores, two newsstands and a closed duty free shop. I saw a Swiss MD-11 flight to Zurich, a Lufthansa B747-400 flight to Frankfurt, a Philippine A340flight to Manila, and the new non stop Singapore Airlines flight to Singapore. After awhile the sunset and our plane, the City of Darwin, was towed to the gate. At about the same time a British Airways 747 pulled up to the gate. Shortly before boarding the 4 Pilots and 13 Flight Attendants boarded the plane. The flight attendants looked good in the their new uniforms. Boarding started and soon it was time for coach to board. My aunt and I had a row of three to ourselves. As we waited to push back a flight attendant handed out The Australian newspaper left over from business class. We waited for the British Airways 747 taxi past us before we pushed back. As we pushed back the flight attendants did the safety demo while it played on our PTVs. As soon as we took off we were over the Pacific. As we climbed to our cruising altitude the flight attendants handed out menus and amenity kits. The kit was a small bag with eye shades, socks, tooth bush, and tooth paste. Then dinner and drinks were served, the choices were Pumpkin Ravioli or Chicken Provencal. I had Chicken Provencal with a coke. It came with a roll, salad, and a piece of cake. After dinner coffee and tea was served. When the trays were cleared and the carts stowed Snack on Q bags were handed out. Inside the bag was a bottle of water, mints, Oreos, Cheese its, and peanuts. I watched Gotika, before taking sleeping pills four hours after take off. I woke up six hour later over the south pacific. There were still three hours to go when I woke up. I played games on the PTV and channeled surfed. About an hour and a half before landing the flight attendants came served breakfast. The choices were Continental or Hot. I had the Continental. It was Orange juice, Lemon & Poppy Seed muffin, granola, and a fruit platter. After handing out trys flight attendants came around with coffee & tea. I had tea it wasnt that great. After trays were collected, customs forms were handed out. We started our decent over the dark pacific. We landed in a dark and rainy Auckland. After clearing customs we meet our tour guide, Julie, and boarded the tour bus. We drove to our hotel, the Stanford Plaza, and had breakfast. Then we went to our room & took a nap.
