Aircraft: N649DL 757-232
Seat: 25A

We got to the airport about 2 hours before departure of <st1:time minute="40" hour="18"><st1:time minute="40" hour="18">6:40p.m.</st1:time></st1:time> Check in went quickly and since there was a lot of time left I went and looked around the airport for a while. When it was time to go through security, the line had gotten quite long. Be eventually we got through. After going to the gate I got something to eat. After eating, it was time to board.
I walked down the jet way, and the FA was giving out headphones at the door of the plane. As you walked on there was music playing over the PA. I took my seat, and got my camera ready to take some departure shots. Some of the kids on the plane were acting a little wild though, so an announcement was made telling everyone to sit down, or we wouldn't be able to leave. After this everyone calmed down and pushback started just about on time.
As the engines were started the safety briefing recording was played. It had a girl talking with an Irish voice. After the engines were started we started a very short taxi to runway 33, which was right next to our departure gate. The <st1:city><st1 =""><st1:city><st1 ="">IFE</st1></st1:city></st1></st1:city> was started up after the last bit of the safety recording.
We lined up on the runway, and engines spooled up and we were off. The 757 takeoff was very nice as usual and we were airborne quickly.<o =""></o>

We climbed out over <st1:street><st1:address><st1:street><st1:address>Eastern CT</st1:address></st1:street></st1:address></st1:street> (I could tell from the PTV), and headed out over the ocean for the flight to MCO. The pilot had announced before departure that we would be flying over the ocean on our way to MCO to avoid storms. There were a few bumps, but no major turbulence as we climbed.

As we kept climbing the FA's prepared to pass through with the food and snacks for purchase, soon the fasted seat belt sign was turned off for cruise. The FA's passed through, but I didn't buy anything. For the flight I just listened to some tunes from the PTV and looked out the window. We went around some areas with nice clouds and thunderstorms, and had a few bumps, but not much.

We flew on and on and, eventually the sun started setting in the west and it got darker outside. Also a USA3000 and an AA 757 passed by under us, heading north. That was nice too see.<o =""></o>

<u1 =""></u1>As we got closer to MCO some more turbulence started up and the pilot turned on the seatbelt signs. The FA's also ended the in flight service. I also took some pics of the flight progress info on the PTV. I guess that green line just points north or something because it wasn't showing the path we followed in flight.

Soon we started decent, and the lights of the <st1:state><st1 ="">Florida</st1></st1:state> coast were visible. It looked very nice. There was some turbulence and I saw a thunderstorm in the distance as we got closer to MCO. The FA's turned on the lights and passed through the cabin the get the trash, then turned the lights back off. Soon I could see the airport and we turned to line up on final for 17L.

Soon we were over the runway and touched down on 17L. After vacating the runway, we taxied over the bridge that crosses the road the goes between the two runways on east side of the airport and then taxied to the gate.
Before leaving the plane I went up and visited the cockpit and took a pic. The captain the FO were very nice.

Well, that’s it for this flight. Song is a great airline. I might type a report for my return flights from MCO later sometime.
Hope you liked :D
