As it was still very early when i arrived to check in the Qantas departures hall was not very full. I spent a little while in Qantas club. i had enough time to down my orange (http://216.130.188.208/cgi-bin/ezlclk.fcgi?id=9560)juice and boarding commenced. i walked down the jetway to hear that great APU whine. i was greeted at the door with a smile and a "G'day". As VH-OGO does International routes my seat was the dreamtime seat. very nice indeed. I was offered either juice or water (http://216.130.188.208/cgi-bin/ezlclk.fcgi?id=9374)before take-off both of which i kindly declined.
We pushbacked a few minutes late and the cabin filled with the smell of avgas. As we started to taxi A BA 747 was being towed to the pond for a rest. We all endured the long taxi down to 34R.

We waited for a QF 737 to land and quickly made our way onto the runway
The takeoff was at Full Power and we rotated in a very short space of time.
As we climbed we turned east and tracked along the coast.
breakfast started to be served and as the Male F/A approached me he asked kindly if i would like the hot (http://216.130.188.208/cgi-bin/ezlclk.fcgi?id=9537)or cold (http://216.130.188.208/cgi-bin/ezlclk.fcgi?id=9896)breakfast. I went for the hot (http://216.130.188.208/cgi-bin/ezlclk.fcgi?id=9537)breakfast. it was very good indeed. We then began ur descent into Brisbane. i noticed th spoilers were deployed then there we lowered down. then they went up again!
We made a series of steep turns and ended up on short finals for runway 19 over the bay. With flaps full and landing gear (http://216.130.188.208/cgi-bin/ezlclk.fcgi?id=9153)down Qantas 504 was now cleared to land. Landing was fairly smooth considering the layout of the 767 landing gear. Reverse thrust was cancelled and we exited the runway via a high speed exit. We had to wait about 5 minutes as out gate was still being occupied by a 737. Eventually we glided into the gate and engines were shutdown and i stepped off the plane, walked up the jetway and stepped into the Brisbane domesic terminal. And So ends the trip
