check-in, security
Well, the time has come, time for me to fly home! You would think after flying 3 times in one day I was tired, well naturally I was! Haha. But this time, I was heading home!!! I woke up around 5:30am. Got up, finished packing my stuff, and jumped in the shower. My aunt came by at 6:00am to take me to the airport. We discussed our trip to Baltimore which is coming in September, she would fly WN PHX-BWI, while I will fly Northwest STL-DTW-BWI, because NWA was cheaper. Anyway, we got to the airport at 6:30am. We pulled into the Terminal 4 parking garage and parked her car. We got out and headed to the elevators. We got in and went to the level 2. I went to a kiosk machine, checked in, got a B boarding pass. We walked to security, and I looked and saw I would be leaving from gate C-8. We hugged and said good bye, and that we would see each other again in BWI. I walked through the line, and unloaded everything on me. I went through holding my boarding pass. Nothing was set off, and I got my bags back, and put my belt and shoes back on.
PHX Airport
I walked around, and watched planes take off and land. I looked through D concourse, looked nice, which I flew out of there. Then I headed to C-8 to get my pre-boarding pass. I got it, and asked how the flight load was. She said so far only 100 is booked (out of 137). She said it might be stopping. So I sat down and talked to my family back home, and some friends.
boarding, taxi, take off
They started the call for pre-boarding, only 7 people were using the pre-boarding service. We got on, and I headed to my favorite seat on the WN 737, 17F. I talked to the F/A about my impairments situation again. They understood, and the f/a said I promise, we won’t crash, we will be fine, we will be in St. Louis in no time! I thanked her, and went back to my seat. I sat down, and waited for everyone else to board. Soon at 7:50am, we started taxing out. F/A did the safety procedures. We taxied to runway 7L. I saw the gate where the guy in the truck went through. We turned onto runway 7L. We immediately started our take off roll. We lifted off and banked left.
In Flight, Landing
We climbed to 10,000 feet, I heard the chime, and in no time, a snack pack was distributed to everyone. I waited until the drinks came around, got a coke, in a cup. I did not ask for a can because I did not want to have to go to the bathroom as the people besides me were already sleeping and I did not want to wake them up. I ate my food silently as my CD player’s battery had died. So I couldn’t listen to music for very long. It got quite boring after awhile. Still had another 2 hours of flying to go, and I was very bored. I had read the spirit magazine twice, cover to cover. Read the safety card a lot, I could recite it now. And the skymall magazine, everything is to damn expensive. So I just sat back and tried to sleep. I was extremely tired, and physically worn out from all the traveling I did. I had a great time in Phoenix, got to enjoy LAX, and got to meet Justin from jetphotos.net, and visit my family again. It was worth the money I spent. I looked out the window and saw us leaving the desert area.
