This is, by far, the lowest heavyjet approach I've ever seen a photo of, aside from the famous AOM DC-10 picture from years ago. :eek:
Look at those folks standing right underneath her... wow!

The Pic in question states that the KLM 747-400 is perhaps on 13 odd ft about the ground.
Take a look at the man on the left of the pic (black trunks)- even if he was 6ft exact, the 747 is more likely 35ft off the ground rather than 13.
Tad lil error eh!

He may be 30-35 feet over the water, but the top of the beach is probably 12 feet above water level.

Its great that there are so many photographers throughout the world that they can get these awesome shots; we should be thankful that their is a place called: St Maarten. ;)

Wow, that is low. It's a shame that he blew the exposure so badly.

I remember the Air France 747-100 in the picture of the homepage was very too
low than KLM 744 over the people in beach.
