Republicans Sweep US midterm Elections

So the Republicans have swept both the House of Representatives and the Senate of the US congress. Any thoughts or commentary on this turn of events?

That's good Robert, I'm hoping the elections sent a clear message to the world that we, as a people, are determined to route out terror and support Bush's hard line on countries that defy UN mandates to halt WMD development. I think it's nice that we've supported our leadership for change, and maybe the gov't can actually get something done on the domestic front now that one party has control (I'm still kind of pesimisstic about that, though).
