I saw today at FRA on US military charter flights 3 United B747-400, 1 Omnir Air Int´l DC-10-30, 1 Miami Air Int´l B727-200, 1 American Trans Air TriSTar 500, 1 Tepper Aviation Hercules, 1 KC-10, 1 C-5 and over 10 C-17.

Buildup of troops with that war on Iraq?

Damn, that's a lot of heavies. Maybe it's for training or to place troops on reserve in Germany for reserve in case they need to quickly be transported to the middle east. They have quite a few military bases in Germany from what I know.

Military has uses commercial air to move people around. Not uncommon to see that many commercial aircraft in Germany. Have seen twice as many on that ramp and nothing was happening. However..... images/smiles/icon_confused.gif
