Sorry, I am so curious about this . Well at home I have a:

Dell Pentium II (266 MHz)
Toshiba Satellite 205CDS (90 MHz)
Apple 6214CD (PPC 90 MHz)

Yeah I know, creatures from the stone age!! I might add I use the Dell because of the power (yeah like 266 MHz is fast) .I would like to get an iBook when I am ready to.

I have a generic "mutt" home build system, so I can't really vote. It's a Windows XP-running AMD Athlon system.

I still use a no-name antique computer, here's its data:

- 800 Mhz P3
- 3 x 60 GB HDs
- 128 MB RAM
- WIN98SE
- DVD ROM
- 3 1/2' Floppy
- 17' CRT

Have to keep using this as I still have DOS-based programmes I need. But then again this antique is good for most I am doing.

Peter

First of all, I don't know why the poll has two for each   I didn't enter them that way. Oh well. Anyways, I really like those Medion comptuers. They are really cool! I think i'll stick to mobile though. I like to be able to take all my computer wherever I go . But for now I am stuck in the stone age with the beautiful beige cases and well right now it looks like my computer is in open heart surgery. Hard drives still connected but out side. The case is open. Geez Anyone have an iBook?

Pete at PIT, just wonder if you are out on another attempt to forge your post count? My old antique does very well, and is still good enough to conquer your insults here.

In another thread you said that you expect a warm welcome from me. If you go back to your trip reports in the Trips Forum, I guess you got that welcome. I found your reports excellent, and think I said so. But then again, those posts were the only of real substance I have seen from you so far :D .

So keep it down low profile, and start to discuss on a civilized basis. Then you will certainly be welcome here. And I will be very pleased to be in discussion with you, but not on the basis you have shown above, or in some other, recent threads.

Regards,
Peter

Yea Pete, honestly, just use the PM feature. Would be easier, and nobody would have a fit.
