Just wondering what do you take pictures of besides planes? I take nature shots and scenery photos.

I hardly take pictures of planes.
I have a digital camera and so I make quite a few pics on every special event like a party or vacation.

Yeah, Thailand is a beautiful country. I went scuba diving with the school in the Similan Is. It was positively the most beautiful place I've ever been!

A useless fact-While Kayaking on the between dive waiting period, I got to walk around on the beach where they filmed the movie The Beach.

I do lot more than just aviation photography.....much of my other pictures are railway related but I also take alot of pictures when I'm overseas. I got a beautiful sunset picture earlier in the year and tonight have been getting some useful experience of moonshots (full moon tonight), last week I also managed to get a picture of the sun including a fairly large sunspot.

I only have one 'creative' picture uploaded so far, but it was more about luck than anything else.

Actually, Richard, I think that The Beach was filmed on Koh Phi Phi Ley, not in the Similan Islands. All over Phi Phi Island they are showing this movie, and there are special tours from Phi Phi to Ley island to see this famous beach.

Hk has some great hikes, and some great viewpoints from where u can see the whole city. i usually take photos when on a hike or vacation.
