Hello fellow enthusiasts,
I am just curious to know after passing 60,000 accepted photos onto the airplane database to whether photo standards will increase higher every so thousand photos are uploaded. If anyone knows, please post under here !!!!

Hi , the image quality is always being raised !.... mostly by you the uploaders

If and when you get a rejected picture you improve it ... therefore you raise your own standard..

So we here at JP dont really need to up the acceptance level..

If you read the do's and dont's on the upload page then you should not get any rejections.. voila ! :D

keep up the good work everyone Tony

While I find it good to see the standards increase, I also applause JP.net for the facts, that a) the standards are not too high and b) non-conventional pics are also accepted.

As for example the "spotting buzzard" shot (http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=60044)

I dont think the standards will increase much, if at all.

If we increase the standards we will have to start using silly rejections for everything like motive shots etc. What I like about this site is I can check out some of the more creative stuff, even if its not totally perfecto

I think, it is a difference between "incresing standards" and "setting the standards too high".

If a picture meats the standards set oon the upload page, then it should be uploaded. These standards are low enough to offer creative shots a more than fair chance, in my opinion.

Rejecting pictures, because the horizon is not level by some 0.2°, that would be too much.

In other words: Screeners, go on like now!! It works perfect!!
