Chautauqua FLL-MCO

This was my first flight on the Delta Connection Partner Chautauqua and first trip on an ERJ. Chautauqua was awesome on this very short 20min flight. I fell in love with the ERJs too. No neck craining to look out the windows like in the CRJ 100/200. Overall a very nice flight topped off with a cat II ILS into Orlando and a chat with the flight crew after landing. Both pilot and co-pilot were former Embry-Riddle students so they loved the fact I was wearing my Riddle hat.

Shouldn't that be Chautauqua? I agree that the ERJ is a fine aircraft, albeit people here do not like it, as it is considered to be too small, a flying pipe. Also our press was riding the fact that the 25 examples of Swiss have no thrust-reversers, so are unsafe for landings on wet runways :( .

awesome trip report. iv always wanted to fly a regional only on a short route...however,...a long one wont do me any good. interesting report.
