Bad motive???

This photo was rejected because of "bad motive". I don't understand it. Can somebody help explain further why this is considered bad motive? Thanks.

if i'm not mistaken i rejected the shot ..

why badmotive? well, ask yourself what are you trying to show in that image? whats the purpose of the image? it wld help if you also added some comments that might state the purpose of your shot. of course saying "i just wanted to show everybody my 50 shots of this plane" doesnt really help.

on a personal note, i dont really fancy 1/2 or even 1/3 plane shots without any artisticness in them. i myself think i have only ever done 1 tail/engine shot, and i felt it was in an artistic manner.

To me the motive would have come across better if the whole tail had been in the shot
