I don't know if anyone will know the answers to this, but I am having some photos sent off to a lab for some people that want the images to be 20x24. However I am having a problem. For best results if the company prints directly with no editing, what should the resolution and DPI be?

higher the DPI the better quality,
Assuming your measurements are inches,

at 100 DPI, resolution needs to be 2400 by 2000
at 200 DPI, resolution needs to be 4800 by 4000

it depends on your camera, my advice is to get your maximum resolution and for the width devide by 24 and the height dived by 20, that will give you the DPI you need, the higher the better though
